Early Life & Education
October 2, 1987 marked Hina Khan's birthplace in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India where she spent her childhood. Hina was raised by Aslam Khan and Shagufta Shaikh, two middle-class Kashmiri Muslims, with her younger brother Aamir Khan, who runs a travel agency business.
Throughout her childhood, she spent most of her time in Delhi and completed her education there. She received an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree from the CCA School of Management in Gurgaon in 2009.
Career
After completing her studies, Hina Khan started her modeling career, taking on various modeling assignments. She auditioned for the TV series 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' in 2009 and was given the lead role by Akshara Singhania. Hina became widely popular as a result of the show becoming a huge hit. Following a seven-year tenure on the show, she made the decision to explore new opportunities and departed in November 2016.
Hina competed in the top 30 of the singing reality show Indian Idol on Sony TV before her role in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' in 2008.
