Early Life & Education
Nithya Ram's birthdate is January 31, 1990 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Nithya Ram is a descendant of an artist family, with her father K. S. Ramu and sister Rachita Ram being classical dancers, and the latter having performed in films. Nithya has received training in classical dance from Welight Academy. Although she holds a graduate degree in biotechnology and worked for a while, her dream of becoming a heroine never faded away.
Career
Nithya began her acting career with the Kannada television series 'Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu', which was aired on Zee Kannada and featured her sister. She continued her career by appearing in other Kannada programs such as Karpoorada Gombe, Rajkumari, and Eradu Kanasu.
Afterwards, she worked on a Telugu soap opera called Muddhu Bidda. Following that, she was contracted to star in a movie with Diganth, but it didn't gain popularity. She was appointed to play the leading role in Muddu Manase alongside Aru Gowda in 2014. During that time, she signed up for her second Telugu television series, Amma Naa Kodala. Afterwards, she portrayed the main character in the Tamil television series Nandini.
In addition to her acting career, she has also served as a judge on reality shows such as Asathal Chutties and Killadi Kids. Sun Life's Masala Cafe has been judged by Nithya for the past five years. Seetha was Seetha's role in the Malayalam film Kaypakka that she made her debut in 2022.
