Early Life & Education
Ravish Desai was the son of Mukesh Desai and Alpa Desai, who were both Gujarati, and born in Mumbai on November 22, 1986.
He received his schooling from G.D. Somani Memorial School, Cuffe Parade. Jai Hind College was where he finished his Bachelor of Commerce degree. He proceeded to finish his post-graduation at JBIMS. After completing his MBA, Ravish became a consultant at JP Morgan Chase and Ernst & Young. He resigned from his job to pursue his goal of becoming an actor. During his childhood, he was always mesmerized by cinema. Karate is also a part of his training and he holds a Brown Belt.
Career

In Horror Story, he made his Bollywood debut as Mangesh. Desai played the role of Kunal Shrivastav in the Star Plus event Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Kanchi Kaul is across the street from Meri Bhabhi. This role earned him a reward. He appeared in a TV flash episode of the show and played the lead role alongside Mugdha Chaphekar and Vrushika Mehta.

Personal Life
On the sets of Satrangi Sasural, where they played lead actors in 2014, he met actress Mugdha Chaphekar. Their love for each other was deep and they got engaged on January 30, 2016 and wed on December 14, 2016 in Mumbai. Desai confirmed that they had separated a year ago during the announcement of their divorce in April 2025. Despite this, the two remain friends.
