The most notable thing about him is his role as Abhishek Prem Mehra in the romantic drama series Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV. His performance on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi was recognized with the third-place finish and he was a host in Nach Baliye, Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega and Dancing Queen.
Apart from this, Ahluwalia has acted in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2002), Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat (2004), Kahi To Milenge (2002), Kkavyanjali (2005), Kasamh Se (2006), Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2006), Kayamath (2007), Laagi Tujhse Lagan (2011) and many more. Early Life & Education
Shabir Ahluwalia was born on August 10th, 1979 in Mumbai, the birthplace of his father and mother who were Sikhs. Shefali Ahluwalia and Sameer Ahluwalia are his siblings.
St. Xavier's High School in Vile Parle was where he went to college. He finished his education at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Career
He made his debut in a TV series called 'Hip Hip Hurrah', but his success in TV soap 'Kyunki Saas Bi Kabhi Bahu Thi' was instant. Until 2008, he had to wait a long time to get a lead role, but he finally got it in a TV series called 'Kayamath'.
He is currently working on a television series called 'Kumkum Bhagya' and has already won the best on screen couple awards with Sriti Jha at the Indian Telly Awards. He is not only an actor but also an excellent host. He hosted the reality dance show 'Nach Balliye' and other reality shows.
